What good is a new year’s resolution if it does not come with the equivalent level of consistency and determination or whatever it will take to achieve your resolutions?
New year’s resolution serves as a ‘fresh start’ for us in a new year. This habit has become a norm in our society, setting goals that are to be achieved.
Setting a resolution is way easier than accomplishing it. A ‘fresh start’ is not as simple as pressing a button or swipe-up-to-unlock on your I-phone.
“I can always start tomorrow.” your inner self is screaming, literally.
Ask yourselves, “Do I really need a New Year’s Resolution?”
“YES.” answered promptly by us with fear of looking back to a fruitless year.
There will not be much of a difference between 31st of December and 1st of January, if we consistently put in limitless efforts in making our dreams into realities.
A dollop of unnecessary resistance were created when we inject too many goals or resolutions into our minds at once at this time of the year. This will result in a deluge of unrealistic goals, ultimately failure will haunt us at the end of the year.
If I must set a New Year’s resolution, I will stop wanting anything to happen in New Year- to set a goal of no goals. With that, I can enter my new year with no expectation and let the amazing unprecedented achievements to unfold themselves in the midst of my hard work and grit.
Here is Kelvin’s draft:
- What good is a new year’s resolution if it does not come with the equivalent level of consistency and determination or whatever it will take to make your resolution happens?
- For most of us a new year’s resolution serves as a “fresh start” for us in a new year.
- Sadly, a “fresh start” is not as easy as pressing a button or swipe-up-to-unlock in your Iphone.
- There will not be much difference between 31st of December and 1st of January if we are truly putting constant efforts in making our dreams realities.
- The subconscious thought of “I can always start tomorrow” is the ultimate catalyst to our so called New Year’s Resolution.
- At this time of every year I asked myself, do i really need a new year’s resolution?
- Some of us might answer YES for our fear of looking back of a year where nothing was accomplished.
- However, setting a resolution is way easier to accomplishing it.
- Too much unnecessary resistances were created when we inject too many goals or resolutions into our minds at once at this time of the year.
- And very likely this will result in abundance of unrealistic goals and ultimately failure to achieve them.
- If I must set a New Years’ resolution, I would stop wanting anything to happen in New Year. To set a goal of no goals.
- With that I can enter my new year with no expectation and let the amazing unplanned achievements to unfold themselves.
