Fleeting,
Busy,
Clashed.
Unprecedented,
Unprepared,
Regret.
Haste,
Lagged,
Mistakes.
Not even five minutes,
Our presence brushed past each other.
Delighted,
Enlightened,
Surprised.
Lingering,
Delirium,
Imagination.
My train of thoughts,
Surreal overthinking.
Not even five minutes,
I did not have enough time to register
What your demeanor was.
Not even five minutes,
I got to hear your voice,
How you were doing.
Deep regret.
I should have gotten out of my place.
You went away from my sight,
I tried to look high and low
For you, to no avail.
I thought I could find you,
but you went home.
I was too late
When I received that small piece of paper,
An opportunity,
Down to the drain.
That piece of paper,
520
Whoever wrote it,
Meant a lot.
Minutiae,
Ephemeral,
Ethereal.
Regret.
Too brief.
Craving for more? Down below:
Decisions. Dilemma.
Died.
